Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a VRI Medical Interpreter (English to Spanish). The VRI Medical Interpreter will be responsible for providing real-time, accurate medical interpretation services in virtual settings. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting conversations between healthcare providers and patients, translating medical terminology, and ensuring clear and effective communication. The role requires strong knowledge of both languages and the ability to perform simultaneous interpretation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Interpretation and Medical Terminology
- Skills in Translation and Interpreting
- Experience with Simultaneous Interpretation
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry is a plus
- Certification in medical interpreting or a related field is desirable
