Can I try the subscription first to see if it's right for me?

Yes! We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you’re not satisfied within the first 7 days, you can request a full refund — no questions asked. Simply email our billing team at billing@localizationacademy.com, and we’ll process your refund.

Billing & Payments

How does billing work?

Our Lite and Plus subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. The Max plan is billed every 6 months. Your payment method will be charged automatically unless you cancel.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings. Your access will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Will I be charged taxes?

Depending on your location, taxes may be added to your subscription price. If applicable, taxes will be calculated based on your billing address and displayed separately on your invoice at checkout.

 

However, if you have a valid tax ID (or your company's tax ID), you can enter it during checkout, and the tax will be 0%. Make sure to provide the correct information to ensure tax exemption applies.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes! We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you’re not satisfied with your subscription, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. See our refund policy for more details.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you decide to cancel your subscription, you can do it through your account:

  1. Go to My Account on our learning platform.
  2. Select Manage Subscription – this will take you to Stripe's customer portal.
  3. Click Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

 

Your access will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Please note that there are no refunds for partially unused membership periods.

Can I pay in EUR?

Yes! We support payments in EUR. If you'd like to pay in EUR instead of USD, please contact our billing team for assistance. The prices stay the same in both currencies, so EUR plans will also be 39/49/249, just like the USD plans.

Course Access & Features

Do you issue a certificate for completing any of the courses?

All our courses come with certification — but you'll need to earn it by submitting the final assignments. We don't issue certificates just for watching videos.

 

Please note that certification is not included in the monthly subscription and must be purchased separately for $100 per course.

What are the regular Q&A sessions in the Plus plan?

Monthly Q&A sessions provide an opportunity to connect directly with instructors and a career coach. These sessions allow you to:

  • Ask questions about course content or career growth
  • Get insights and advice from experienced professionals
  • Connect with other learners, share experiences, and expand your network

 

Each session is live and you'll be able to join through Zoom. It's a great way to stay engaged, learn from others, and build connections in the industry!

What are the monthly challenges in the Plus plan?

Each month, Plus members can take on new challenges from each course to sharpen their skills. These challenges simulate real-world localization tasks and will be included in your portfolio — a collection of your best work — hosted on our website.

What kind of support is included in my subscription?

All members get support on Discord, but Plus members also get access to monthly Q&A sessions with instructors and a career coach for extra guidance.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

If you cancel, you’ll retain access to your courses until the end of your billing cycle. After that, your access will be revoked unless you re-subscribe.
