About The Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Filipino Scriptwriter / Localization Specialist to develop engaging short-form drama scripts and adapt storylines to Filipino culture. The ideal candidate has strong storytelling skills and can write natural, relatable Tagalog/Taglish dialogue for digital content.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and adapt scripts for short-form drama episodes (approximately 1.5 minutes each)
- Localize storylines, characters, and dialogue to reflect Filipino culture and audiences
- Develop scriptwriting templates, guidelines, and localization standards
- Review scripts to ensure cultural accuracy, consistency, and storytelling quality
- Collaborate with the creative team to deliver scripts within deadlines
About You
- Excellent command of Tagalog/Taglish and English
- Experience in scriptwriting, creative writing, storytelling, or content creation
- Strong understanding of Filipino culture, humor, values, and social trends
- Experience in short-form videos, digital series, TV, or film is an advantage
- Background in Creative Writing, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related fields is preferred
- Open to learning AI-assisted creative tools
