Cintia Kanowitz
Olá! I’m Cintia, a Localization Manager at Bold and a Cultural Specialist Consultant passionate about language, culture, and connecting people and products across borders. I hold a Master’s in Translation and Localization Management and a BA in Sociology, and have led the end-to-end localization of more than 30 websites while supporting a portfolio spanning 25 languages. Growing up, I studied English, Spanish, French, and German, which helped guide my path into localization.
Originally from Brazil, I’m fascinated by how culture shapes communication around the world. In my free time, you’ll find me exploring national parks—I’m on a mission to see them all. And if I’m in Brazil, I’m likely at the beach reading about localization, sociology, or politics.

Do I need any prior knowledge to start the course?
This course is best suited for someone who knows the basics of translation/localization.
What will be the course format?
Join a select group of students in daily, live interactive Zoom sessions with the instructor. We also offer a community platform on Discord for further engagement and discussion outside of class.
Will you issue a certificate for completing the course?
Yes! But you'll need to submit the final assignment selected by the instructor to prove you learned something.
