Payment, cancellation and refund policy
SECTION 1 – APPLICABILITY
This Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy has been written for all our users, clients, buyers, and other users who have used the services from the website of Localization Academy. This includes all customers from all parts of the world.
SECTION 2 – PAYMENT POLICY
The users will be able to pay for the courses available on and through our website either through Stripe or PayPal that are the only Payment methods available through Localization Academy’s website. We have the right to change, add or remove any payment gateway for our business. All of the payment platforms have their own rules and regulations for data collection and data processing policies which can be read by accessing the privacy policies of these payment platforms. You can follow the links for consulting the privacy policies of these platforms. The courses and services on our website will be paid through Stripe, and PayPal which are payment gateways on the Thinkific’s platform.
SECTION 3 – CANCELLATION POLICY OF ONLINE COURSES
We offer refunds on a limited basis. Since our courses are delivered digitally and can be accessed instantly, you may request a refund within 30 days of your individual course purchase, provided you have not accessed Module 3 (also referred to as “Day 3” or “03”) of the course. Refunds are only granted if you have accessed up to Module 2 and the request is made within 30 days from the purchase date. After these conditions are met, no refunds will be issued. Once approved, the paid amount will be refunded in full.
For course bundles (i.e., purchases that include access to multiple courses), the above conditions apply collectively to all courses included in the bundle. A refund will only be granted if none of the courses within the bundle have been accessed beyond Module 2. If any single course within the bundle has accessed Module 3 (also referred to as “Day 3” or “03”) or beyond, the bundle will no longer be eligible for a refund.
SECTION 4 – CANCELLATION POLICY FOR CERTIFICATION
No refunds are granted for any reasons whatsoever for our certification courses.
SECTION 5 – REFUND PROCESS
Once your refund request has been received and accepted, please allow 3 to 5 business days for your refund to be processed. If a refund is approved, the refunded amount will be credited to the original method of payment. This refund amount may take some time to show in the client’s records, so before contacting us, the users and buyers of our services are requested to check with their respective credit card companies, banks, or other payment services.
