Both of these platforms support a range of payment methods including but not limited to credit and debit cards as well as bank transfers.   3. We also rely on third-party platforms in order to render our services. We primarily use the services of Zoom and Thinkific in order to stream and deliver our video content to our website users. We do not collect any information collected by these third-party services. Nor do we share or use any personal data of any user or member and hence we are not responsible for any steal, hack, theft, or otherwise unlawful use of any of the members or users’ data which is provided on or through Zoom and Thinkific. All the information on these platforms is collected in accordance with the official privacy policy of the website of Zoom and Thinkific.   4. We may send to all our users our company’s newsletter at their verified email addresses. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to the receipt of the newsletter and the procedures described. We do this in the pursuit of our legitimate interest in marketing our business. The newsletter will be sent by means of “MailChimp”, a newsletter platform of the US company Rocket Science Group, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The e-mail addresses of our users, as well as further data described in the context pertaining to the users’ information, will be also stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA (or in any region where the servers of Rocket Scient Group are located). 2.4. Who Has Access To The Users Sensitive Information

All sensitive information, such as passwords, is end-to-end encrypted. No one can have access to it. In other words, we will never be able to see what your password is but will be able to change it if requested.

Localization Academy’s platform maintains industry-standard security safeguards to protect the private and personal information of the users. This includes ensuring our employees receive appropriate security and privacy training and guidance, so they are aware of the measures they need to implement to protect such information.


8.1. Retention Of User Information
  1. Generally, we do not permanently store any content from users’ data on the Localization Academy’s platform. Rather, when you log in to the website, we retrieve data from our website in real-time so that it is displayed in the portal for viewing during your session. We store other content that you produce so that you can easily access this material on the website.
  2. Some of the information (provided directly and indirectly) is either anonymized or deleted, however, we do not delete some data either. We mainly keep the data for tax, compliance for record-keeping purposes, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce the terms for our services.
  3. After it is no longer necessary for us to retain information about you, we will dispose of it securely or anonymize the data.

Our website does not sell personal information for monetary consideration; however, we do work with and share personal information with certain partners and third parties unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy. Other than the information required to enter our Teens program, Localization Academy does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16 without parental consent. We only collect the child’s name, age, school, and country, and this information is provided by the parents with their consent. If a child under 16 has provided us with personal information without parental or guardian consent, the parent or guardian may contact us by emailing us at support@localizationacademy.com. We will remove the information and unsubscribe the child from any of our electronic marketing lists. Where required by applicable law, we may ask children for consent from their parents or guardians before we provide access to courses or services.
