- This will be a fully interactive course delivered LIVE over Zoom, so no pre-recorded videos to watch.
- You’ll get 2 hours each day with Jaber, your expert instructor, to learn and practice new skills.
- The course runs from May 1 to May 9, with sessions happening every workday from 6:00 pm CEST.
- That means we have 7 sessions in total. Get the course syllabus to see what you’ll learn in each session.
- We will record each session in case you can’t make it every day.
- We believe you learn best by doing. That’s why you’ll get more than 7 exercises throughout the course.

Hi, I’m Jaber! Since 2005, I have had the privilege of collaborating with businesses and organizations across Canada and around the world. With expertise in foreign language typesetting, I’ve honed my graphic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office by working with over 130 languages, ensuring accuracy and cultural sensitivity in every project. My work bridges the gap between cultures, helping clients effectively communicate their messages to diverse audiences.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling and experiencing the richness of new cultures and languages. From exploring traditions to discovering local cuisines, each journey broadens my perspective and inspires my work.

Will there be another Live course?
This will be a one-time opportunity, we won’t be organizing another one. If you want in, don’t miss your chance : )
I can’t attend all the sessions. Will I miss out?
No worries — every session is recorded and uploaded to our learning platform, usually within 2 hours. You can catch up anytime that works for you.
Do I need any prior knowledge to start the DTP course?
Nope, we’ll teach you everything you need to know from scratch. All you need is a reliable internet connection, a computer… and some good coffee helps too!
Will I need to pay for any software?
We’ll be using Adobe Creative Cloud’s 7-day trial, which is free — but only if you haven’t used it before. If you’ve already used the trial, you’ll need your own Adobe Creative Cloud license to participate. One lesson also covers DTP in Microsoft Office, so you’ll need access to it for that session.
I have a Mac. Can I participate?
We primarily use Adobe Creative Cloud, which works on both Windows and Mac. One lesson covers DTP in Microsoft Office, so you'll need it on your Mac for that session. If you have it, you're all set!
Will I be charged taxes?
If you're located in the EU, VAT may be added to your purchase. Starting January 2025, live courses in the EU are subject to VAT, even though they're educational in nature. The tax rate is based on your billing address and will be shown separately at checkout.
However, if you have a valid tax ID (or your company’s tax ID), you can enter it during checkout, and the tax will be 0%. Make sure to provide the correct information to ensure tax exemption applies.
What will be the course format?
Join a select group of students in daily, live interactive Zoom sessions with the instructor. We also offer a community platform on Discord for further engagement and discussion outside of class.
Will you issue a certificate for completing the course?
Yes! But you'll need to submit the final assignment selected by the instructor to prove you learned something.
