Localization BD Manager (Singapore)

1. Location: Based in Hong Kong/Singapore/London, open to both foreign and Chinese nationals.

2.Key Responsibilities:

2.1 Business Development Strategy:

-Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and expand business opportunities in specified regions, including but not limited to digital entertainment, life sciences, ICT, patents, e-commerce, and related fields.

-Lead market research and analysis to identify market trends, new opportunities, and potential clients.

2.2 Team Management:

-Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing BD team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

-Provide guidance and support to team members in client acquisition, relationship management, and deal closure.

2.3 Client Relationship Management:

-Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, focusing on those with significant language service needs.

-Act as a senior point of contact for major clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

2.4 Cross-Department Collaboration:

-Work closely with internal teams (e.g., project management, operations, and technology) to ensure efficient fulfillment of client needs.

-Promote cross-department collaboration to optimize business processes and enhance client experience

2.5 Goal and Performance Management:

-Set team sales targets and plans, and monitor execution to ensure achievement of performance goals.

-Regularly evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement measures.

3. Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in marketing, business, or related fields.

-At least 5 years of BD or sales experience in relevant fields, with 3+ years of team management experience; experience in the translation or localization industry is preferred.

-Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills, with strategic thinking and business acumen.

-Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, capable of motivating teams to achieve goals.

-Proficiency in English as a working language, able to communicate effectively with international teams and clients.
