We are looking for an amazing Content Strategist & Copywriter to join the MKT Team in our Barcelona Office to start in April/May! 🏬

Your Role at Weekendesk 🚀

As a Content Strategist & Copywriter, you’ll be at the heart of our content strategy, working across all Points of Sale (POS), including the website, social media, newsletters, blogs, and more.

You will:

  • Develop and implement the content strategy for all POS (website, social media, newsletters, blogs, etc.), ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Maintain the highest standard of quality for all written materials, ensuring they are error-free, aligned with brand guidelines, and visually appealing.
  • Oversee all website content, including hotel descriptions and photos, ensuring they are up-to-date and consistent with the brand.
  • Review content for landing pages and existing categories: Take ownership of reviewing and ensuring the quality and accuracy of content on landing pages and existing categories on the website.
  • Supervise translation and localization, ensuring that all content is accurately adapted for various languages and regions in the different channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content initiatives with business goals, marketing campaigns, and seasonal promotions.
  • Optimize content for each POS, tailoring it to fit the specific needs and preferences of the audience.
  • Write and edit high-quality, SEO-optimized content that aligns with Weekendesk’s brand voice.
  • Manage content quality assurance, ensuring all materials are fresh, relevant, and error-free.
  • Optimize content performance through data-driven insights and ensure it drives engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty.

Does This Sound Like You?🙋

  • Fluent in English and French (Spanish is a +).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in content creation, content management, or editorial roles.
  • Proven expertise in SEO and digital content best practices.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for storytelling and delivering content that resonates with our audience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency with translation tools and overseeing localization efforts.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools (social media, email marketing, Google Analytics, etc.).
