Responsibilities:
- Analyze legal requirements specific to the country and assess their implications on our products.
- Develop precise tasks and guidelines for the development department on adapting legal requirements into our localization products.
- Draft business requirements (BRD) and functional requirements (FRD) to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Manage projects related to developing and implementing new products or drivers tailored for specific countries.
- Monitor legal changes and updates, ensuring our products remain compliant.
- Gather and prioritize local legal requests from the service delivery department.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on the country’s legal requirements.
- Assist the support department with documentation as needed.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Product Specialist in Localization or Product Manager in Localization, preferably with a technical background.
- Strong familiarity with IT systems, including software and basic networking concepts.
- Proficiency in writing comprehensive documentation.
- Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) products is highly desirable.
- Familiarity and experience with Opera, Opera Cloud, Symphony, and legacy Oracle products (Suite8, Res3700, Res9700) would be advantageous.
- Ability to understand and work with various data exchange formats for system integration, such as APIs and file formats.
- Hospitality working experience within Adria countries region.
Preferred Background:
- Candidates with experience as IT Managers in hotels, Front Office specialists, or Product Specialists from other HORECA (Hotel/Restaurant/Cafe) or retail companies are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of legal compliance within the hospitality industry is preferred
