Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle handling of English content across all business lines for the platform and its sub-sites, including translation, editing, contextual optimization, and localization.
- Translate and adapt a wide range of text types, including website localization (with SEO optimization), app UI copy, product and technical documentation, marketing materials, help center content, and legal and compliance documents.
- Monitor and enhance language quality across all business lines, ensuring content reads fluently and naturally.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain and customize terminology databases (with a focus on cryptocurrency and finance sectors) in line with industry standards and terminology guidelines.
- Assist in drafting and maintaining multi-scenario style guides to ensure language consistency and user-centric communication across email campaigns, marketing copy, product listings, and event promotions.
- Build and continuously optimize the translation memory database.
- Serve as a language expert, working closely with product, operations, and legal teams to provide localization strategies, especially for culturally sensitive content (e.g., regional cultural differences).
- Implement and integrate CAT tools (such as Phrase) and machine translation engines (such as DeepL/Google MT), and provide real-time feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Produce regular language quality analysis reports, including error categorization, improvement recommendations, and best practice sharing.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in English, Translation, or related fields; CATTI Level 2 certification or equivalent qualification.
- 3+ years of localization industry experience, with proficiency in using CAT tools such as Trados, MemoQ, etc.
- Experience in the Web3 or cryptocurrency industry is preferred.
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills, with a deep understanding of English-Chinese cultural differences and localization practices.
- Detail-oriented and logical thinker, able to thrive under high-pressure workloads, respond swiftly, and adapt to changes with resilience.
