The Role

We are hiring for a long-term annotation project focused on Al training. The work involves reviewing, editing, and evaluating Al-generated text and images on a daily basis.

This role requires working with content in both Japanese and English. You will be reading and interpreting detailed project guidelines written in English, then applying those guidelines to evaluate Al outputs that include Japanese-language material. Because of this, strong bilingual ability is essential to do the job well.

The position is fully remote with consistent daily hours and long-term availability.

Compensation

USD 13 per hour, paid on a regular schedule. Fully remote.

7 to 8 working hours per day.

What You Will Do

• Review Al-generated text and images for accuracy, quality, and relevance.

• Read and interpret detailed project guidelines written in English.

• Conduct independent research to verify and assess

Al outputs.

• Identify errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases in the content you review.

• Provide structured feedback based on the evaluation criteria provided for each task.

What We Are Looking For

• Full professional proficiency in Japanese. You will be working with Japanese-language content daily, so you need to be able to read and write at an advanced level.

Full professional proficiency in English. The project guidelines and reference materials are written entirely in English. You need to be comfortable reading and applying complex instructions in English without difficulty.

• Strong attention to detail. The work requires careful, consistent evaluation against specific criteria.

• Ability to work independently. This is remote work with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable managing your own time and output.

• A desktop or laptop computer running Windows 11

Pro or macOS. This is a technical requirement. The tools and platform used for this project are not compatible with smartphones, tablets, or older operating systems.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with data annotation, labeling, or quality assurance tasks.

• Familiarity with Al, NLP, or machine learning concepts.

• Experience working remotely on structured, guideline-driven projects.
