Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Business Development (Translation – Corporate Clients) professional will identify and qualify potential corporate customers, focusing on enterprises that handle complex, high-volume documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include lead generation, outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, and presenting Lekhak.app’s value proposition to decision-makers in legal, compliance, operations, and localization functions. The role involves conducting structured market research, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, coordinating product demos, and gathering feedback to improve offerings. The individual will also nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients, collaborate with internal teams on proposals and pricing, and support closing deals to meet defined growth targets.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage corporate stakeholders, understand their needs, and build long-term relationships.
- Proficient Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify target accounts, map decision-makers, and prioritize opportunities.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret client requirements, evaluate market trends, and support data-driven sales decisions.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, ideally in SaaS, AI, translation, or related technology services.
- Comfort with CRM tools, sales workflows, and basic presentation tools (e.g., slides, online meeting platforms).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage part-time hours effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with strong relevant experience.
- Familiarity with corporate procurement processes and an interest in language technology or enterprise SaaS is an advantage.
