🎯 The Role
We are seeking a Translator / Interpreter / Localization Specialist to provide high-quality language services, ensuring effective communication across different languages, cultures, and markets.
This role is ideal for language professionals who are passionate about translation, interpretation, localization, cultural adaptation, and multilingual communication.
🚀 Key ResponsibilitiesTranslation Services
- Translate documents, reports, websites, marketing materials, technical content, and business communications
- Ensure translations accurately reflect the meaning, tone, and intent of the original content
- Review, edit, and proofread translated materials for linguistic quality and consistency
- Maintain terminology databases and translation glossaries
- Ensure compliance with client, industry, and localization standards
Interpretation Services
- Provide consecutive, simultaneous, or liaison interpretation during meetings, conferences, training sessions, and events
- Facilitate effective communication between multilingual stakeholders
- Prepare terminology references and briefing materials before interpretation assignments
- Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality during interpretation activities
- Support virtual and in-person interpretation engagements
Localization & Cultural Adaptation
- Adapt content for specific markets, regions, and cultural contexts
- Localize websites, applications, software interfaces, multimedia content, and digital platforms
- Ensure localized content aligns with cultural norms, linguistic preferences, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with content creators, product teams, and marketing departments
- Conduct localization testing and quality assurance reviews
Project Coordination & Quality Assurance
- Manage translation and localization projects within deadlines
- Coordinate with linguists, editors, vendors, and stakeholders
- Perform quality checks and linguistic validation
- Track project progress and maintain documentation
- Contribute to process improvements and language resource development
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communications, International Studies, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for entry-level positions
- 1–8 years of experience in translation, interpretation, localization, or multilingual communication roles
- Native or near-native proficiency in at least one target language and strong proficiency in the source language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and linguistic accuracy
- Knowledge of localization processes and multilingual content adaptation
- Familiarity with translation tools and localization platforms such as:
- SDL Trados Studio
- memoQ
- Smartcat
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Professional translation or interpretation certifications are advantageous
