About the Role:
Hiring: Transcription QA Linguists/Annotator (Multiple Languages) | 100% Remote (US)

Ascendion is expanding its multilingual team and is actively hiring Transcription QA Linguists to support a large-scale audio transcription quality program. If you have experience in transcription, translation, captioning, localization, or linguistic quality assurance, we’d love to hear from you!
Note: This opportunity is open only to candidates who are currently residing in the United States and are authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from candidates located outside the U.S. will not be considered for this project.
What You’ll Do
- Review transcription output against source audio for accuracy and completeness
- Correct transcription, punctuation, formatting, timing, and speaker-labeling errors
- Apply language-specific style guides and terminology standards
- Ensure transcripts meet quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with project teams on quality trends and linguistic edge cases
Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in assigned language(s)
- Strong listening, reading, and writing skills
- Experience in transcription, translation, localization, captioning, or linguistic QA
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Location: 100% Remote
Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $30,000 – $35,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
