Role Description
The Bilingual Voice Data Contributor is a PAID contract-based remote job. The contributor will record clear and accurate voice samples in two or more languages according to provided scripts, prompts, and recording guidelines. Daily tasks include reading and speaking sentences or phrases, following pronunciation and intonation standards, and ensuring consistent audio quality in a controlled environment. The role also involves verifying transcriptions, labeling or annotating voice data, and reporting any issues with content, recording tools, or procedures to project coordinators. Collaboration with project staff to meet data collection targets and adherence to confidentiality and data protection requirements are essential.
Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in both Melayu and English.
- Clear pronunciation and reading fluency in both languages.
- No specific voice type, accent, or tone requirements.
- Ability to follow detailed recording instructions.
- Access to a quiet, isolated recording environment free from background noise, echoes, conversations, music, or other disturbances.
- Reliable internet access for uploading completed recordings.
