We are looking for a meticulous Editor/Proofreader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for language and a strong attention to detail, ensuring that all translated materials meet our high standards of quality. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the clarity and accuracy of our projects.
- Review and edit translated documents for accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Ensure that all materials adhere to our quality standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with translators and project managers to resolve any issues or inconsistencies.
- Verify terminology usage and adherence to client-specific guidelines.
- Conduct quality checks on various types of projects across different sectors.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in editing or proofreading, preferably in the translation industry.
- Strong proficiency in English and at least one additional language (e.g., French, Spanish, or another widely requested language).
- Excellent understanding of grammar, style, and syntax in both source and target languages.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ) is a plus.
