Role Description The European Portuguese Recording Project role is a full-time remote position focused on creating high-quality audio recordings in European Portuguese for a variety of business and AI training use cases. Daily tasks include reading and recording scripted prompts clearly, following pronunciation and stylistic guidelines, and ensuring consistent audio quality across sessions. The role involves reviewing recordings for accuracy, clarity, and completeness, and re-recording any segments that do not meet project standards. Team members collaborate with project coordinators and technical support to manage recording schedules, upload files through the platform, and troubleshoot basic audio issues. The position may also include providing feedback on scripts and contributing to the continuous improvement of voice data quality and recording processes.
Qualifications
- Strong command of European Portuguese, with clear, natural pronunciation and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Experience with audio recording tools or software and basic knowledge of microphone setup and sound quality optimization.
- Ability to follow detailed linguistic, technical, and stylistic guidelines, with strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Reliable remote work setup, including a quiet recording environment, stable internet connection, and suitable hardware.
- Previous experience in voice recording, voice-over, narration, or language-related projects is an advantage.
- Comfort working independently, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with international teams through online platforms.
