who you are
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and pro-active Content Editor for the Arabic language course.
requirements
- expert user of Modern Standard Arabic
- fluent in English, B2 or C1 level
- working knowledge of the MS Office suite
- flexible and creative
- self-motivated and organized
- previous experience as a translator
- previous experience with an online authoring tool is a plus
- speaking any other language that is available as course is a plus
- experience teaching, especially if it is a language as a second language is a plus
key responsibilities
Creating online and analog material for the Arabic language course for web and mobile applications in a professional agile team
- bring in expertise and advice as an expert Arabic speaker, linguist and seasoned translator
- translate the digital and analogue English master concepts into Arabic
- design and develop language specific grammar lessons
- maintain the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of the Arabic language course
- help to create new content and rework existing content for the online course and analogue products
- assist with picture selection and organization
- produce online learning content using an e-learning authoring tool
- assist in the content upload process to the learning platform
- keep all project documentation up to date
- quality assurance of all content on the web, mobile and analogue products
- upon request, be the voice-over artist for the languages course
- provide constructive feedback and recommendations to fellow content editors and team lead
Depending on workload and deadlines for content production,
additional tasks could also be part of this role.
