Role Summary This demand is to hire an associate under Business Process Operations with primary skill group as Customer Service Operations. Seeking a highly motivated Junior Japanese Translator to support communication, translation, and interpretation activities for Japanese clients and project teams. The candidate will be responsible for translating business and technical documents, facilitating interactions between Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders, and ensuring language accuracy and cultural alignment across engagements. Key Responsibilities Translate documents, emails, presentations, reports, technical manuals, and project-related content from Japanese to English and English to Japanese. Provide interpretation support during meetings, client discussions, workshops, and conference calls. Review, proofread, and validate translated content for accuracy, consistency, and quality. Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and translation context. Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Maintain translation glossaries, terminology databases, and linguistic resources. Support localization initiatives and documentation activities across projects. Act as a communication bridge between Japanese clients and offshore/onshore teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language, Linguistics, Translation, Literature, or related discipline. JLPT Certification (N3/N2/N1 preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English. Good understanding of Japanese business culture and communication etiquette. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills. Preferred Skills Exposure to translation, localization, or interpretation activities. Knowledge of IT, Automotive, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business domains. Familiarity with translation tools and language management platforms. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and global team environment. Key Competencies
