Backend Support Specialists – Voice & Speech Data Project

Project Overview
We are seeking Backend Support Specialists to support a language-focused voice and speech technology project. The role involves handling backend operations related to voice and speech recordings, transcription workflows, cultural and tone evaluations, and accuracy validation activities across multiple Indian languages.
Languages Required
Candidates should have proficiency in at least one of the following languages:
- Kannada
- Tamil
- Telugu
- Marathi
- Bengali
Key Responsibilities
- Support backend operations for voice and speech recording projects.
- Manage and process audio and speech-related datasets.
- Review, validate, and verify transcriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct quality checks on speech recordings and transcription outputs.
- Evaluate cultural relevance, tone, and linguistic appropriateness of content.
- Identify and flag inconsistencies, errors, or quality issues.
- Maintain project documentation and workflow tracking.
- Collaborate with project coordinators and quality teams to meet delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in backend support, data processing, operations support, or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in at least one of the required languages.
- Good understanding of grammar, spelling, and language nuances.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality assurance tasks.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, web-based tools, and data management platforms.
- Ability to follow project guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
Technical Requirements
- Personal laptop or desktop computer (mandatory).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (mandatory).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in transcription, annotation, localization, content review, linguistic validation, or speech/voice AI projects.
- Exposure to quality assurance or data validation workflows.
Work Location
Remote – Candidates can work from anywhere in India.
Compensation
₹100 per hour based on approved hours worked.
