Thai NLU Linguist

Language Qualifications

  • Professional-level proficiency in Thai (C2 or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Thai.
  • Good working proficiency in English for collaboration with global teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Core Qualifications

  • Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU).
  • Knowledge of intent classification, semantic analysis, and corpus analysis.
  • Experience with linguistic annotation and language data quality evaluation.
  • Ability to review and validate language datasets, annotations, and AI-generated outputs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with conversational AI applications.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience evaluating prompts and AI-generated responses.
  • Exposure to Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) or similar AI evaluation methodologies.

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of Python.
  • Familiarity with AI data annotation platforms and language evaluation workflows.
  • Experience using data analysis or annotation tools is an advantage.

What You’ll Do

  • Review and evaluate Thai language data for quality and consistency.
  • Analyze linguistic patterns to improve Natural Language Understanding (NLU) performance.
  • Validate annotations and AI-generated outputs following established quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance language datasets and AI model performance.
  • Document findings and provide linguistic insights to support continuous model improvement.
