TransPerfect Gaming Solutions is looking for long term freelance English into Malay Gaming translator to join us to provide client support on gaming localization projects in a dynamic and exciting environment. You will be translating the next big hit game from small independent development teams all the way to AAA game titles from industry heavyweights!

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Native level skills in Malay.
- Passion for games.
- Prior experience in playing games in Malay for at least 2 years AND still playing games currently.
- Experienced in EN>Malay Translation / Localization within Gaming industry.
- Familiar with gaming terminologies.
- Familiar with Adventure, Strategy and Fantasy games.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
- The drive, positive attitude and ability to thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, innovative and creative environment.
Candidates MUST also have any ONE of the following:
A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
2 years of translation experience and a college degree;
5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or
A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Applicants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a Translation test and a Proofreading test.
