About the Role
LangLink Games is looking for part-time In-Game LQA Specialists to support mobile game localization testing for unreleased titles.
You will play through pre-release versions of mobile games, identify localization issues, and report language, cultural, and consistency problems to help improve the final player experience.

English → French
English → German
English → Brazilian Portuguese
English → LATAM Spanish
Project Details
Task Type: In-game LQA / Localization Testing
Game Genres: RPG, Social, Simulation, Open World
Platform: Android
Device Requirement: Android device with a processor equivalent to or above Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 / MediaTek Dimensity 9000 / Kirin 9010
Contract Period: Initial 3-month fixed-term contract, with possible renewal based on performance and project needs
Responsibilities
As an In-Game LQA Specialist, you will:
- Play through pre-release mobile games and identify localization issues.
- Report language errors such as typos, grammar issues, mistranslations, awkward phrasing, and dialogue inconsistencies.
- Check terminology, style, and tone consistency based on style guides and terminology lists.
- Identify cultural, political, or religiously sensitive content where applicable.
- Provide clear and detailed bug reports using issue-tracking tools.
- Work independently while maintaining good communication with the project team.
Requirements
- Must be full proficiency in English and native in the target languages.
- Background in translation, localization, linguistics, or language studies is preferred.
- Close attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to meet deadlines and provide constructive feedback.
- Availability during Japan working hours.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with TAPD, Jira, or similar issue-tracking systems is a plus.
- On-site work availability is a plus.
On-site location: Hatchobori, Chuo City, Tokyo, near Tokyo Station.
Compensation & Benefits
- For part-time cooperation, the hourly rate can be up to JPY 3,000/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
