Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work from home. The Global Translation Sales and Business Development professional will identify and qualify new business opportunities, focusing on organizations that handle complex or high-volume translation needs. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting, outreach, and lead generation, conducting product demos, preparing proposals, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact to closure. The role will collaborate with product and operations teams to understand client requirements, tailor solutions, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Responsibilities also include maintaining strong client relationships, gathering market feedback, and contributing to go-to-market strategies for new features and language offerings.
Qualifications

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, including clear verbal and written Communication and persuasive Writing abilities.
  • Background in Translation with familiarity in language services or localization, and comfort explaining technical translation capabilities to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Spanish Translation and handling Terminology accurately, with the ability to discuss multilingual requirements with global clients.
  • Experience in sales or business development, ideally in SaaS, AI products, or language technology, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline, use CRM tools, and organize outreach activities in a structured, data-driven way.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment in New Delhi, with the ability to meet clients in person when needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Languages, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Interest in AI, translation technology, and emerging markets; additional language skills beyond English are an advantage.
