🔹 Role: I18N and l10n QA Tester
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, end-to-end, usability, and compatibility testing on physical devices and smart home appliances.
- Test applications across iOS, Android, web browsers, and connected hardware devices.
- Validate device functionality, connectivity, responsiveness, UI consistency, and cross-device compatibility.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, exploratory tests, and regression test suites.
- Conduct I18N/L10N testing, including Unicode support, RTL layouts, translated content, locale-specific date/time and currency formats, and text expansion.
- Perform pseudo-localization testing to identify hardcoded strings, layout issues, and character-rendering defects.
- Identify and report defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or Buganizer, with detailed reproduction steps, logs, screenshots, and videos.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and localization teams to ensure product quality across markets and languages.
Required Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in device testing and smart home appliances.
- Hands-on experience testing physical devices, connected hardware, and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, sanity, and compatibility testing.
- Experience with internationalization and localization testing.
- Familiarity with iOS, Android, device connectivity, and hardware-specific testing scenarios.
- Experience with defect-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Buganizer.
