Game Localization QA Collaborator (Thai / Indonesian)

Job Description

  • Read, review, and evaluate all in-game text content in Thai or Bahasa Indonesia, including character names, skill descriptions, UI texts, dialogues, system notifications, and related content.
  • Ensure localization quality by verifying that translations accurately reflect the original meaning, sound natural, and align with local language and cultural contexts.
  • Identify and report display issues such as font errors, layout problems, text overflow, broken characters, or incorrect content rendering.
  • Record, consolidate, and report issues following the required reporting template (issue type, location, suggested correction, etc.).
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to clarify content, context, and original intent when necessary.
  • Submit progress reports and perform other assigned tasks under the guidance of the direct manager.

Candidate Requirements

  • Preferred candidates:
  • Native Thai speakers currently living in Vietnam (for Thai QA position), or
  • Native Indonesian speakers currently living in Vietnam (for Indonesian QA position).
  • Students or graduates majoring in Language Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, Translation & Interpretation, or related fields are preferred.
  • Language certifications (e.g., BIPA, Thai language certificates, or equivalent) are considered a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand English for content comparison and reference purposes.
  • Gaming experience, especially with Strategy/RPG genres, is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and good observation skills.
  • Responsible, quality-oriented, and committed to delivering effective results.
  • Passionate about games, technology, and interested in developing a career in Game Publishing/Localization.

  • Perform language QA tasks, review content, report issues, and propose localization improvements.

Phase 2 (For suitable candidates):

Working Time

Office Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 08:30 AM – 06:00 PM
  • Saturday: 08:30 AM – 04:00 PM (working 2 Saturdays/month)
