Job Type: Full time (40 Hours per Week)

Pay Range: $31/hr -$33/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Localization Program Manager (LPM) to support its Localization team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in localization, translation technologies, language operations, and global product delivery.

The ideal candidate will help manage localization operations across multiple products and content surfaces while working closely with engineers, vendors, linguists, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality localized experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Localization Operations

  • Manage day-to-day localization activities, including bug triage, release coordination, and linguistic testing.
  • Monitor string and label delivery cycles and coordinate with localization vendors.
  • Track localization deliverables across multiple projects and proactively identify risks.
  • Serve as a point of contact for assigned product teams.
  • Support engineering teams with localization workflows and best practices.
  • Follow through on open items, vendor communications, pull requests, and stakeholder decisions.
  • Coordinate and support in-context testing (ICT) to validate translated content within product interfaces.
  • Assist with Translation Management System (TMS) processes and tooling setup.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and marketing.

Localization Quality Management

  • Coordinate Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) projects and linguistic reviews.
  • Manage glossary localization, translation cleanup initiatives, and quality improvement programs.
  • Investigate localization issues and support bug resolution efforts.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance localization efficiency and quality.

Typical Day

  • Run localization operations and coordinate releases.
  • Triage localization bugs and track issue resolution.
  • Coordinate linguistic testing activities.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and engineers.
  • Create and maintain process documentation.
  • Learn localization processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Support quality initiatives and localization testing efforts.

Required Skills

  • Understanding of translation technologies and localization workflows.
  • Familiarity with software and website localization processes.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working with AI/LLM-assisted tools and workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Localization Management, Translation Technology, Language Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Familiarity with localization quality tools such as ContentQuo.
  • Exposure to GitHub workflows and version control systems.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) file formats.
  • Experience working with localization vendors and distributed teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Software development lifecycle knowledge.
  • Basic scripting experience.
  • Quality management experience.
  • Data analytics and reporting exposure.
