Mandarin to English Interpreter – Remote (No Experience Required)

Job Description

We are looking for fluent Mandarin and English speakers to join a remote interpreting opportunity with a major U.S.-based client.

This is an excellent opportunity for bilingual candidates who want to build professional interpreting experience. Previous interpretation experience is not required, as successful candidates will receive comprehensive paid training before starting the role.

What You’ll Do

• Provide accurate and professional Mandarin-to-English and English-to-Mandarin interpretation.
• Facilitate clear communication between speakers.
• Listen carefully and communicate information accurately.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and neutrality during interpreting sessions.
• Complete required training, assignments, and language assessments.
• Follow all client and interpreting procedures.

Training Program

Selected candidates will complete a 3-week paid training program designed to prepare them for live interpreting.

• 2 hours of live training per day
• 5 hours of homework and assignments
• 35 paid hours per week
• Training begins at 7:00 AM California time
• Ongoing support and coaching will be provided.

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills
• Reliable internet connection
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer
• Comfortable working remotely
• Available for a full-time schedule
• Professional and positive attitude
• Willingness to complete the full training program
• No previous interpretation experience required

Hiring Process

4. Candidates who pass the English assessment will complete a Mandarin language assessment.
5. Successful candidates will proceed through the remaining hiring process.

The language assessments are designed to evaluate English and Mandarin fluency.

Candidates must be able to use a laptop or desktop computer for the assessments and maintain a stable internet connection.

The position requires availability beginning at 7:00 AM California time.
