We are launching a unique creator-subscriber platform featuring Japanese YouTubers, cosplayers, and edgy digital artists, aimed at English-speaking fans of Japanese pop culture. The platform connects Japanese creators with a global audience, with a strong focus on localization, social media growth, and community engagement through a weekly live streaming show.

We’ve already built a comprehensive 6-month marketing strategy and budget. Now we’re looking for a hands-on marketing manager or agency to implement and manage the plan across all marketing channels. You’ll work directly with us and our production partners to bring the vision to life.

***IMPORTANT*** We are looking for someone in Japan, specifically in the Tokyo area who can join weekly face-to-face meetings.****

   • Use platforms like Google Search Network, Meta, and others to reach niche global audiences.

B. Influencer Operations

    • A pre-show music stream featuring licensed anime/J-pop music and animated visuals (LoFi-style).

    • A main live show with a host, guests, and interactive elements.

You will

    • Coordinate with music curators and visual designers to ensure the pre-show segment fits the platform’s vibe (note: music licensing and curation will be handled by a separate team).

    • Collaborate with our talent agency or production team on the main live show, contributing marketing insight to help shape the format, guests, and flow.

    • Promote the show with a weekly content calendar (teasers, trailers, social posts).

    • Track engagement, viewership metrics, and audience feedback to refine future episodes.

    • Ensure the show includes promotional hooks (e.g., creator features, giveaways, or exclusive reveals) that support growth.

E. SEO Coordination

    • Work alongside our SEO team to launch a keyword campaign targeting 100 niche terms.

    • Monitor SEO performance and support optimizations over time.

F. Campaign & Budget Management

    • Monitor and report on campaign results and budget allocation.

    • Make recommendations for optimization based on performance data.

    • Stay agile and adjust tactics as platform needs evolve.

Ideal Candidate

    • Fluent in English and business-level Japanese (reading, writing, speaking)

    • Experienced in marketing to niche fan communities (anime, cosplay, J-pop, online creators)

    • Proven track record managing complex, multi-channel marketing plans

    • Comfortable working with edgy, pop-culture-driven content

***Bonus: Experience with creator platforms, subscription services, or fan-based monetization models
