Role Description
This is a full-time on-site contract role for a Localization QA Engineer located in Warsaw, Poland. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (including a 1-hour lunch break). The initial contract is for 1 year, renewable annually based on performance review.
The Localization QA Engineer will be responsible for:
- Performing comprehensive localization testing for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms, including download/update, registration/login, onboarding, core functionality, scenario-specific validation, promotional features, privacy compliance, network performance under different conditions, and device compatibility testing.
- Executing rigorous payment testing for international payment channels, covering order processing, transaction visibility, cancellation procedures, and various carrier and bank card scenarios.
- Conducting thorough evaluation testing of competitive products, focusing on functionality, network performance, and usability on both iOS and Android.
- Capturing and documenting screen recordings as required, meticulously logging bugs and anomalies to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
- Compiling and submitting comprehensive test reports, testing activity summaries, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
The engineer will collaborate closely with the development team to ensure high-performance, bug-free software, and will contribute to improving testing processes and tools to enhance overall efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting localization, payment, and competitive product evaluation testing across iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and articulate issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
