Our client is a global provider of localization, translation, and content services. This company helps businesses adapt their products, services, and content for international markets. Their offerings include translation, software localization, transcreation, multimedia services, and content management. With a focus on quality, innovation, and customer collaboration, they support brands in delivering impactful, culturally relevant experiences to a global audience.

Location: Hybrid: Ireland / Remote: Italy, Spain & Poland

Working hours: Local working hours with some overlap with Ireland

Summary: We’re looking for a Localization Supply Chain Business Partner to connect our clients’ production teams with top localization and data annotation suppliers, driving quality and creativity in every project. In this role you will be the go-to person for supplier partnerships and innovation, lead recruitment drives, and build a world-class supplier network. Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless localization solutions, monitor, analyze, and optimize supplier performance for impactful results.

Serves as the liaison between our clients’ production teams and suppliers with guidance from more senior team members. They are responsible for recruiting, qualifying, and onboarding new suppliers, ensuring alignment with production requirements and quality standards. This role focuses on managing relationships with suppliers and ensuring they meet project goals and that all suppliers are sourced in accordance with our Supplier Qualification process.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage targeted recruitment drives that arise for specific locales and/or specific verticals, working with the Account team(s) and Supply Chain Managers.
  • Identify suppliers who meet targeted requirements, negotiate rates and other work arrangements with new and existing suppliers, and identify opportunities to develop strategic pricing models.
  • Ensure all new suppliers complete and sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement and Service Level Agreement, and documents are completed correctly, signed, and saved in the corresponding profile folder together with the completed and signed Supplier Qualification Form.
  • Perform background checks and store results in the corresponding profile folder in Plunet as required.
  • Maintain awareness of industry standards, practices, tools, and resources regarding suppliers and propose revisions to the company direction, operation, and policies accordingly.
  • Work closely with staff in other departments to meet account, departmental, and company Supply Chain needs.
  • Attend and actively participate in Account/Sales/Production meetings, as required, with a senior team member.
  • Provide input to Account teams on supplier selection and assignments.
  • Monitor vendor performance and quality on a company-wide level and work alongside other departments to ensure a solution is implemented.
  • Evaluate and maintain data integrity of supplier databases, records, templates, instructions, training materials, procedures, and other documents relating to new and existing suppliers.
  • Remove any barriers to progress related to suppliers for account teams.
  • Monitor supplier performance and report regularly for all accounts.
  • Provide weekly status reports to the line manager.
  • Complete any assigned compliance-relevant tasks/actions in a timely manner (e.g., training completion, document reviews, complaint handling, etc).

Requirements:

  • 3 years + experience in supplier or vendor management.
  • 1 year of experience with data annotation supply chain and recruitment is a plus.
  • 1 year of experience as a PM is a plus.
  • Experience in building and recruiting suppliers.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Degree in Translation, Localization, Supply Chain, or a similar field.
