About the role

You’ll support our Vendor Manager in managing suppliers, maintaining strong relationships, and recruiting new linguists and other providers to expand our network. As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will act as a key link between linguists and the project management team, helping to ensure supply requirements are met efficiently while continuously building and improving our supplier base.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator with excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. The successful candidate should be a graduate in modern languages or business studies. Proven experience in a vendor management role within the translation or localisation industry is essential.

You should share our passion for languages, quality and customer service, and be comfortable working in a remote environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

Your responsibilities

  • Active management of supplier database, including updates to existing supplier profiles and onboarding of new suppliers
  • Recruitment of new suppliers
  • Utilising general and specialised platforms for connecting with and recruiting potential suppliers
  • Evaluation and tracking of supplier performance and assisting with evaluation processes
  • Managing relationships with existing suppliers, negotiating rate changes, and tracking availability
  • Supporting other departments with supplier recruitment and providing lists of potential suppliers as needed
  • Assisting with project-specific vendor requirements
  • Assisting with admin related tasks.

You should have a professional attitude, be self-motivated and able to work equally well unsupervised or as part of a team. Proven experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator or in the translation industry is preferred.
