Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for the English to Afar Translation Project. The translator will be responsible for translating and transcribing English content into Afar, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. The role also involves communication with stakeholders, writing, and maintaining consistency in terminology.
Qualifications
- Afar Translation skills
- Communication and Writing skills
- Experience in maintaining consistency in Terminology
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in translation projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or related field
