English – Arabic Localization Editor (English into Arabic & Arabic into Arabic)
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
✱ Gaming experience is not needed (but is a plus).
✱ General media localization experience is a must.
✱ An excellent command of Arabic is a must.
𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭:
The role requires a specialization in media localization and a relevant portfolio.
We are not looking for trainees or first-timers, and we will not be considering general applicants for these roles.

For this role, we’re searching for a candidate to uphold our localization standards with minimal compromise.
To put it less corporate-ly:
- ✕ We’re not looking for someone whose sole focus is proofreading and technical linguistic error elimination.
- ✓ We’re looking for someone whose innate feel for what works and what doesn’t in localization is as strong as their technical linguistic skills.
As a Localization Editor, you will:
- Edit & Proofread localized in-game content (menu, dialog, and item strings)
- Edit & Proofread localized game related materials (website copy, store description, achievements)
- Proofread and adapt localized content to loclait’s standards
You’re an ideal candidate for this position if:
- You have excellent command of Arabic writing and grammar
- You have an innate feel for what sounds right to players, and for what works and what doesn’t
- You have good knowledge of English (C1 level minimum)
- You have good technical skills (CAT Tools, Microsoft office suite) and the ability to learn independently
- You have a strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
- You are able to operate consistently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- You have a keen eye for detail
