Freelance – In-country Copy Reviewer

Role: Freelance – In-country Copy Reviewer (Norwegian native-speaker)

Location: Norway or anywhere within Europe

Workload: A few hours per month

ROLE MISSION

We are looking for a skilled freelance Norwegian In-Country Copy Reviewer who can support with reviewing and auditing marketing copy for one of our large tech client. The ICR will be responsible for providing feedback on our transcreations with a focus on brand tone of voice, terminology and accuracy of meaning. As part of their responsibilities, the ICR will also help us evaluate copywriting/transcreation tests we will receive from potential candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess copywriting tests using a standardized assessment form and specific evaluation criteria.
  • Provide objective, detailed feedback on writing quality, accuracy, and adherence to client’s brand voice and guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in localized content to maintain high linguistic and cultural standards.
  • Collaborate with the localization team to refine evaluation processes and contribute insights on language quality.
  • Support quality audits by reviewing released copy in the market
  • Maintain independence in the review process, acting as a third-party evaluator.

Key Qualifications:

  • Norwegian native speaker
  • Good understanding of marketing or brand management/strategy background
  • Experience working with big global brands
  • Solid copywriting experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Full English proficiency
  • Nice to have – competency with Mac programs
