We are looking for a Localization and Content Quality Specialist to join our team, who will play a key role in ensuring linguistic accuracy, consistency, and quality across all Obilet platforms. This role is not limited to Turkish and English but also involves overseeing content quality in multiple languages, especially in internal tools and platforms, by leveraging machine translation technologies and coordinating with external language service providers.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-quality translation services from Turkish to English and English to Turkish when required; contribute to translation efforts in other languages as well, depending on language proficiency
- Perform localization tasks for all required languages, including but not limited to Turkish and English, ensuring content is accurately adapted across different markets. Coordinate the work of external translators and act as the primary point of contact for all translation and localization processes
- Review, edit, and produce localized content across Obilet’s web, mobile, and internal platforms to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone and style across all supported languages
- Use machine translation tools effectively to accelerate content delivery while ensuring quality through thorough post-editing
- Collaborate closely with product, design, marketing, legal, and customer experience teams to validate translations before go-live and ensure high-quality language across all touchpoints
- Maintain and improve content in Turkish and other supported languages across SEO pages, help center articles, call center scripts, chatbot messages, marketing communications, and presentations
- Ensure all written content in Turkish and other languages adheres to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and grammar standards, while continuously identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct benchmarking analyses to align Turkish and multilingual content with industry norms, user expectations, and content best practices
- Write and review professional internal and external communications to ensure clarity and tone alignment, particularly in operational and partner-facing contexts
- Support regulatory compliance by reviewing and updating content in line with applicable legal and industry requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- A university degree from a reputable institution in a relevant field such as (but not limited to) English/American Language and Literature, Translation Studies, Communication, Linguistics, or similar disciplines
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Turkish, with strong grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Proven ability to review and refine multilingual content with attention to detail and tone consistency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams
- Proficiency in using translation tools and technologies (e.g., CAT tools, machine translation platforms) with an understanding of post-editing workflows
- Experience or familiarity with internal platforms and staging environments, and a basic understanding of HTML and/or similar markup/code structures used in content editing
- Intermediate skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office tools
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to content quality, and an interest in continuously improving localization processes
