Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Interpreter for Spanish to English VRI only. The Medical Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate medical interpretation services for Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers via video remote interpreting (VRI). Daily tasks include simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, ensuring clear and effective communication, and adhering to professional interpretation standards and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Medical Interpretation and Interpreting skills
- Simultaneous Interpretation skills
- Translation and Language Services skills
- Strong verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Familiarity with medical terminology in both languages
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Relevant certification or training in medical interpretation is a plus
- Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
