Job Summary: The role focuses on generating new business and growing newly acquired accounts by thoroughly understanding market trends and opportunities in Europe, US and Canada. Preferably, the candidate should speak French, Dutch/Flemish and/or English.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Lead Generation:
- Utilize HubSpot, Apollo or similar to identify and generate new business leads.
- Develop and implement effective sales pitches tailored to the localization industry.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline in HubSpot to ensure accurate tracking of leads and opportunities.
- Maintain professional/technical knowledge by attending conferences, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
RFP Development:
- Diligently explore all relevant platforms and portals to apply for RFPs and bid on proposals and job ads.
- Create Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for ongoing and potential clients, ensuring all requirements are met and proposals are compelling and competitive.
Sales Strategy and Reporting:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Essential skills and experience required:
The Salesperson must have a university degree, a graduate degree, or the equivalent of +5 years’ experience in client service, business development, or sales within the localization industry. Plus:
- Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Apollo, HubSpot, MailChimp, etc.
- Familiarity with translation/management tools such as Plunet, memoQ, XTRF, SDL Trados, etc.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Prospecting/negotiating/closing skills
- Customer service, solutions orientation, presentation skills
- Out of the box sales approach
