About The Role
As our Senior Localization Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing our games to life for players around the globe – ensuring that every line of dialogue, quest description, and UI element feels just as powerful in Tokyo as it does in Toronto. You’ll own the end-to-end localization pipeline, from partnering with top-tier vendors and managing translation budgets and contracts, to overseeing delivery timelines and driving continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.

What You’ll Achieve
- Drive the global launch of world-class games by managing localization pipelines across multiple languages and (potentially) regions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including narrative, audio, QA, and production – to align on tone, voice, and player experience across markets.
- Own vendor relationships – from sourcing and contracting to building long-term partnerships that deliver exceptional translation quality at scale.
- Oversee localization budgets and timelines to ensure efficient, on-time delivery without compromising creative intent.
- Champion continuous improvement by analyzing data, gathering feedback, and leading initiatives that enhance translation quality, speed, and player experience.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
Required for Success
- Experience managing end-to-end localization workflows, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Familiarity with internationalization (i18n), cultural adaptation, and regional compliance considerations.
- Proficiency with tools TSM or CAT tools like memoQ, Gridly.
- Comfort working with localization file formats (e.g. .xliff, .json, .csv), content pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
- Clear, empathetic communicator who can work across cultures, time zones, and disciplines – from writers and engineers to QA and production teams.
- Initiative to give and receive constructive feedback
- Self-managed, continually focus on iterative improvement
- Excellent communication skills; English skills (both spoken and written)
Recommended for Success
- Passion for Video Games
- Experience building or working with automated and AI translation solutions
- Experience working with vendor groups, contracts, and budget tracking
- Experience in mobile platforms (Android and IOS)
- Experience with QA processes for game development
