Role Responsibilities

  • Provide expert translation and interpretation services for various documents.
  • Engage in linguistic and cultural research to enhance translation accuracy.
  • Review and edit translated materials for quality assurance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
  • Adapt content for different audiences while maintaining the original message.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Assist in the development of training materials in the Persian language.
  • Provide linguistic support for marketing and promotional content.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure linguistic consistency.
  • Utilize technology to streamline translation processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and language developments.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and strategies.
  • Offer feedback and suggestions for improving workflow processes.
  • Support the onboarding of new team members in language-related tasks.
  • Conduct client consultations to ascertain project scope and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Persian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience as a language expert, translator, or interpreter.
  • Strong understanding of Persian culture and its nuances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in translation software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with various document formats and types.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for language.
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in client-facing roles is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, localization processes.
  • Track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
  • Certifications in translation or language services are a plus.
