Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for a Language Specialist to join our team of language quality experts. The LQS will be responsible for managing quality on selected clients on working closely with the project team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for Program quality
- Leading a team of suppliers
- Supplier training, on boarding and tools support
- Quality risk assessment and prevention, planning, monitoring and management
- Query Management
- LQA and TQA recommendations, handling and rebuttals
- Client language review feedback handling and rebuttals
- Initiating quality improvement plans and off boarding decisions
- Test translations
- Source content analysis
- Creation of test translation kits
Requirements:
- 3 years + Language experience in the localization industry
- Experience in client communication and management
- Able to work in a geographically dispersed team
- Degree or Masters in translation, linguistics or similar educational background
- Ideally experience within eLearning or Multimedia projects
- Fluent English plus 1-2 additional languages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solver
- Expert knowledge of standard CAT packages and other common tools (XTM, SDLX, JIRA, Termweb+)
- Time management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Solid understanding of how quality management feeds into client satisfaction and delivery targets
- Solid understanding of quality in the context of business needs
