Job Summary:
As an RFP Writer, you’ll be at the forefront of our business development efforts, crafting compelling and tailored responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs, IFBs, and RFQs). Your days will be filled with research, writing, collaborating with internal teams, and refining proposals to perfection.
A successful RFP Writer combines attention to detail with the ability to capture the essence of our services in compelling narratives. Requirements
- Proposal Writing: Craft persuasive, clear, and tailored responses to RFPs that highlight our strengths and capabilities
- Research: Dive deep into RFP requirements to understand client needs and tailor our proposals accordingly
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather necessary information and data for proposals
- Continuous Improvement: Keep updated with industry trends to ensure our proposals are current and competitive
- Document Management: Maintain organized records of all RFPs, proposals, and related documents
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, preferably within the language solutions or related industry
- Proven track record of success in responding to RFPs for State/County/Local government, Education, and Commercial sectors
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio)
- Proficient in the use of a Government Procurement platform (GovSpend preferred)
- Familiarity with procurement processes and regulatory requirements for government and commercial sectors
- Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple proposals simultaneously
