You’ll play a vital role in evaluating machine-translated song lyrics, ensuring their meaning, fluency, and cultural accuracy are spot-on. Your feedback will directly enhance the performance of automated translation systems, helping lyrics resonate authentically across borders.
This is a fully remote, freelance position offering exceptional flexibility and a competitive hourly rate.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Review and assess machine-translated song lyrics, primarily focusing on English (US) to French (France) translations.
- Evaluate translations for meaning, naturalness, and linguistic fluency.
- Provide precise quality ratings based on clear, predefined evaluation criteria.
- Identify and report critical issues such as mistranslations, awkward phrasing, or cultural inaccuracies.
- Maintain consistent and objective judgment throughout the review process.
