Web Content Administrator

Job Summary:

The Web Content Administrator will be responsible for the implementation of content and page layouts using UI designs provided by the creative team. The role includes managing both English (US) and Spanish versions of site content, ensuring accessibility compliance, proper page responsiveness and supporting multilingual engagement across global markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and publish web content across ALTOUR.com and youreventsolutions.com using WordPress CMS
  • Implement page layouts and content updates based on creative assets provided by the design team, building pages both from scratch as well as modifying existing page designs built using Elementor
  • Ensure consistency in branding, tone, formatting, and user experience
  • Manage and maintain English (US) and Spanish language variants of website content using WordPress WPML plugin
  • Coordinate captioning and alternative text for non-text content (e.g., video) to support accessibility in English, Spanish, and other local languages
  • Support accessibility standards, ensuring compliance with ADA and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
  • Monitor content performance and recommend updates to enhance engagement and improve user experience
  • Ensure content is optimized for SEO and user experience, including metadata and alt tags
  • Collaborate with global marketing, design, and business stakeholders to deliver timely updates
  • Oversee integration and functionality of the WordPress WPML plug-in supporting 8+ additional languages
  • Maintain organized content libraries and digital assets for easy access and reuse
  • Identify and resolve any front-end issues, ensuring website functionality, liaising with technical support as needed

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

Essential:

  • 2+ years of experience managing web content using WordPress
  • Familiarity with WordPress page builders like Elementor
  • Strong understanding of web accessibility standards, including ADA and WCAG 2.1+
  • Experience managing multilingual content, including localization and translation tools using the WordPress WPML plugin
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML/CSS for formatting and troubleshooting
  • Experience with video content management and captioning/subtitling tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Design, or related field

Preferred:

  • Experience in a global marketing or agency environment
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and best practices
  • Experience working with UI design software including Figma
