Position: Gikuyu Language Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $30 – $80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Translate written materials from English to Gikuyu and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Review and edit Gikuyu language content for grammar, style, tone, and clarity.
- Assess, annotate, and evaluate text data to provide input for AI model development.
- Collaborate with the customer’s team to deliver high-quality linguistic insights and recommendations.
- Maintain the consistency and integrity of Gikuyu language usage across various projects.
- Contribute to innovative language tasks that may include localization, data annotation, and linguistic analysis.
Requirements
- Have native proficiency in Gikuyu, with advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess a strong command of English, including professional writing and editing capabilities.
- Have demonstrated experience with written content creation, review, and editing.
- Have expertise in translation between English and Gikuyu.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail and a passion for linguistic accuracy.
