Title: Spanish Content Reviewer
We are seeking a Learning Designer and Spanish Content Specialist to join our agile team. This hybrid role combines expertise in learning design with proficiency in the Spanish language to create high-quality, culturally relevant educational content. You will help ensure engaging learning experiences, ensure the accuracy and cultural appropriateness of Spanish content, and support multilingual initiatives. This role also contributes to continuous improvement through innovative workflows and AI-enabled solutions.
The role is remote within the United States following standard EST hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement digital learning curriculum in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Learning Design, Media Design, and vendor teams to ensure translated content meets instructional and style standards.
- Stay current on learning science, pedagogical trends, and digital learning standards.
- Measure and evaluate learning experiences using data to assess impact and inform improvements.
- Accurately translate online course materials, including video and audio scripts, quizzes, presentations, and written content, from English to Spanish.
- Review and validate Spanish-language content for accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Provide quality assurance (QA) for Spanish-language content to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
- Create and maintain glossaries, terminology guides, and other linguistic assets for Spanish content.
- Recommend improvements to translation and localization processes, employing AI tools where appropriate.
- Advocate for quality and consistency across all products and workflows.
- Support broader multilingual content initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, instructional design, ed tech, or related field.
- Proven experience in online, adult learning.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, with expertise in translation, localization, or language review.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong research abilities to ensure accurate and context-appropriate translations.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and learning science.
- Excellent organizational and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in agile environments.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards across diverse content types.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing glossaries, style guides, or linguistic assets.
- Certification from a recognized translation organization (e.g., ATA).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive language practices.
- Experience in or passion for using AI tools to improve efficiency in design and localization.
- Experience in workforce development, vocational training, or continuing education.
