Job Title: Localization Program Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 9+ months with Possibility of Extension/Coversion
- Hiring Manager needs a Localization Program Manager who has 3+ years of hands-on product localization / internationalization program management experience, ideally from a global technology/product company.
- The person should have managed localization projects end-to-end, partnered closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing, QA, and Localization Vendors, and handled multiple languages, markets, and timelines.
- This is not just a translation project manager role — they need someone who understands product launches, localization frameworks, workflows, testing, quality, international user experience, and scaling localization processes globally.
- Looking for an experienced Localization Program Manager to drive global product localization initiatives.
- The role will partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, QA, and international teams to deliver localized product experiences across multiple markets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end product localization programs from planning through launch
- Build scalable localization workflows and improve localization processes
- Coordinate translation, localization testing, and international releases
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to resolve localization issues
- Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
- Use data insights to improve localization quality and global user experience
Required Skills:
- 3+ years Localization Program/Project Management experience
- Strong product localization and internationalization experience
- Experience with CAT tools, translation memory, machine translation workflows
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management
- Experience working with global teams
Nice to Have:
- SQL or analytics experience
- AI/ML localization workflow exposure
- Knowledge of Unicode/CLDR standards
- Additional languages
