Position: Bulgarian Language Expert
Type: Hourly contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and proofread Bulgarian-language documents for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Translate content between English and Bulgarian while maintaining context and meaning.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality written and verbal content aligned with project goals.
- Provide linguistic expertise to ensure content follows local language nuances and best practices.
- Support the development of glossaries, terminology lists, and style guides.
- Participate in virtual meetings and contribute solutions to language-related challenges.
- Ensure communications maintain consistent brand voice and messaging standards.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in Bulgarian with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong experience in translation, localization, or language quality assurance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, polished content.
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and remote work practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality output.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Passion for language, culture, and continuous learning.
