Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Bilingual Translator (English-Spanish) with our power technology client in Fletcher, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $23.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Schedule: 3:15 PM – 11:30 PM – 2nd Shift
Description:
The Bilingual Production Translator serves as a communication resource for English-speaking and Spanish-speaking employees in a manufacturing environment. This position spends the majority of the workday on the production floor, helping facilitate communication and support daily production activities. The role is focused on manufacturing operations and employee engagement rather than administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation during daily production activities.
- Support communication between employees, supervisors, team leads, and management.
- Assist employees with understanding safety requirements, quality standards, work instructions, and production expectations.
- Support onboarding and on-the-job training activities when needed.
- Translate operational documents, safety materials, and workplace communications as required.
- Work closely with production teams while maintaining a strong presence on the manufacturing floor.
- Learn manufacturing processes and equipment operation to better support production employees.
Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish with strong verbal communication skills.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability and willingness to learn machine operation and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7 hours per shift.
- Must be available to work weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
